Dant Upchaar™ exists because three problems kept pointing at each other: patients unsure whom to trust, qualified dentists without infrastructure, and modern clinics with chairs sitting idle. Connect them properly, and each one solves the other two.
The thesis
A three-sided marketplace, built where value is created
Most healthcare platforms list providers. Dant Upchaar goes deeper — into the operating layer of dental practice itself.
Infrastructure
India’s dental chairs are unevenly used — busy mornings here, idle afternoons there. Chair sharing turns that idle capacity into revenue without a rupee of new investment.
Expertise
Thousands of qualified dentists graduate every year, and setting up a practice is the single biggest barrier between them and their patients. Visiting Practice removes it.
Patients
Families deserve to know who is treating them, what it should cost and where their records live. Trust is the product — verification and transparency are how we build it.
How we’re building it
Operating system first, marketplace second
We started where trust is actually earned: inside the clinical day. OPD management came first — the schedule, the walk-ins, the records, the billing. The marketplace grows on top of tools built for how practices actually run.
- Verification before visibility — nobody treats or hosts without clearing checks.
- Two-sided fairness — one agreement, identical terms rendered to both parties.
- Privacy by design — data scoped to the care relationship, built for India’s DPDP Act, 2023.
- Honesty as policy — no inflated claims, no fabricated numbers, no dark patterns. If it’s on this site, it’s real.
